VIA Creative Specifications

 

Technical Requirements

For all VIA campaigns the following components should be supplied:

Selected Keywords: Up to 100 core words per campaign, with a recommended minimum of 25 per line item

Creative:

• Advertisers can supply either 3rd Party Redirect tags or Creative that meets the Technical Specifications below.
• Larger video streaming creative is acceptable when delivered via specialist rich media platforms e.g. DoubleClick Motif, Eyeblaster, Pointroll, Atlas DMT, BrightRoll
• 3rd Party tags must be unrestricted with no geo-targeting or capping.
• Max 3 Loops, maximum 15 seconds animation per loop.
• If delivering the creative through Flash, it must contain backup GIF/JPEG.
• Must contain a border around the creative.

Technical Specification

Skyscraper (wide) Specs

• Image Dimensions: 120 x 600 or 160 x 600 pixels (wide)
• Image Types: GIF, JPEG, HTML, Flash and simple JavaScript (i.e. form validation) only.
• Max File Size:
  
  • GIF/JPEG: 40k
  • Flash/HTML: 40k (additional polite download limit 60k) served via IFRAME.
    
    Default GIF/JPEG required for all Flash and HTML submissions.
• Additional Requirements for Audio: User activated only with a 1 second delay, mute button required. Audio must stop on mouse-off.
• Additional Requirements for Video: True streaming, 30 seconds max. Requires Start, Stop, Mute button functionality. Subsequent files can be loaded only upon user interaction; video polite download limit is 2.2mb.

Leaderboard Specs

• Image Dimensions: 728 x 90 pixels
• Image Types: GIF, JPEG, HTML, Flash and simple JavaScript (i.e. form validation) only.
• Max File Size:
  • GIF/JPEG: 40k
  • Flash/HTML: 40k (additional polite download limit 60k) served via IFRAME.
    
    Default GIF/JPEG required for all Flash and HTML submissions.
